We were advised to book the Midnight Hoboes by one of our regular customers who'd seen them play at another venue, and we thought we'd give them a go. We weren't disappointed! They played hit after hit that everyone knew, and they had our customers all singing along with them all evening. Most importantly, we were busy behind the bar all night! We'll definitely be having them back again in the new year.

We are a local village community club in Farcet, Peterborough. The Midnight Hoboes as a 3-piece band were brilliant. We have members of all ages and the band played songs that everyone knew - really engaging and great fun! We have re-booked them (as a 4-piece!) on a busier night now we know what a great show they will put on for us!

As regular performers here at The Shed in Peterborough, we can absolutely rely on the Midnight Hoboes to put on a great show which totally entertains our clients. Their repertoire of popular, crowd-pleasing songs are well known by our younger and older clients. From Queen to Bowie, Clapton and even ABBA, this band gets the crowd on their feet, singing and joining in. We regularly have the Midnight Hoboes back to play and they are a firm favourite for us. They are professional and totally reliable, and we thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for a band to provide a great evening of entertainment.

We recently opened The Shed in Peterborough and wanted a reliable, quality, fun band to help build up the business. The Midnight Hoboes did not disappoint - they play well known anthem songs that all age groups are familiar with, for example Queen, Elton John, ABBA and David Bowie, Oasis, that kept our clients singing and dancing all night. They really engage well with their audience and we felt very comfortable that their performance would ensure everyone had a great night. As we are not licenced for a full drum kit, their percussion was via a Cajon, which kept noise levels reasonable while still driving the performance. I would thoroughly recommend the band and have already booked them thru our year.

By way of background, I am quite involved in the Peterborough music scene, mainly known now as ‘Matt’s Dad’ in that I act as manager/roadie/soundman for my son Matt Howard who is an accomplished artist. I also host the biggest Open Mic event in the area at the Brewery Tap. I bumped into Robin and Steve (AKA Midnight Hoboes) at another event in early January and was extremely impressed. They are highly engaging with a diverse set of popular songs which went down particularly well with a mixed audience. I immediately approached them and asked them to be our featured artist at the next event at the Brewery Tap, and I gather other venues have also enjoyed them in recent weeks. I understand the duo has only formed quite recently and I have no doubt they will continue to build on what have already been some very well received performances. I booked the Midnight Hoboes to play at a music evening I run at the Queen's Head, and I was blown away - Robin and Steve are great musically, but more than that, they really engage with the audience, who absolutely loved them. They were singing along with the band on all their songs, and everyone had a great time. I've booked them again to play here next month!
